Welcome to the Hot Summer Nights Erotica Blog Hop. Hot summer nights lend themselves to sexy clothes setting a sexy mood. And when I’m in a sexy mood…I write sexy things. LOL!
Being a long time historical romance reader those sexy things naturally are of a historical nature. Somewhere along the way I dreamed up a brothel in London that caters to the wealthy with particular sexual appetites. The Market is the central tie for each book in the series, starting with Love Revealed, the first book.

The next book in the series will be Love Redeemed and is about one of the girls from The Market and a local merchant. Their story is one of passion and of mistrust. However, it won’t be out until later this year or early next. So, if you haven’t read the first book grab that one and of course I’ll let you know when book 2 is coming out.

Big shout out thank you to Sorcha for having me today! Today is the last stop on The Roughnecks Blog tour for Rough Ride. *sobs*…or not. Just kidding. I’ve had so much fun talking to you and learning more about you.
Today let’s get on one of my favorite subjects, the friends-to-lovers. Or maybe in the case of Rough Ride, acquaintances to lovers. I really enjoyed that dynamic between Gretchen and Lane writing them. They weren’t best buds. He’s not her best friend’s older brother or anything like that. They barely have a history together.
You see Gretchen owns a trailer park. For several months now Lane has been one of her tenants. They don’t go out and grab a beer together, but they know just enough about the other to know they want to know more. Is that a mouthful or what?
So there was some familiarity there between them, but then so much newness to discover. It reminded me so much about my romance with my husband. He’s best friends with my cousins on the other side of the county so I was always aware of his existence and him of me. If we saw each other in Wal-Mart we’d wave and keep shopping. If my car had broken down in the parking lot, I would have gotten in his truck for ride somewhere. Just acquaintances.
